Payment Conditions
To start creating your order, a full, non-refundable payment is needed. Once your payment is confirmed, your order will be officially placed. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Shop Pay for all online payments.
Order Amendments & Cancellations
At De Promes, we are proud of our artisan patisserie. If you are not satisfied with your order, please email us at depromes@gmail.com to discuss.
We require at least 48 hours' notice for any changes or cancellations to your order. For wedding cakes and large catering orders, we need a minimum of 7 days' notice. Please note, we cannot cancel orders that have already been prepared and packaged for pickup, as our cakes are made fresh to order. Please feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience.
Can I Order Custom Cake?
We are currently not accepting custom cake orders. Modifications to menu items are limited to color changes and personalized cake writing. so do not forget to add on cake writing and leave us a note.
Can I order a wedding cake or catering individual cake for functions over 30pax?
We'd love to help with your event! For wedding cakes or even just the individual cakes for functions with over 30 guests, simply email us at depromes@gmail.com with the specifics. Please include the date of your event, how many people you're serving, and what you have in mind for the cake's design, colors, flavor, and size (number of tiers). We will then put together a custom quote for you.
How many days can I store the cake in the fridge?
Please keep the cake refrigerated and consume it within 48 hours or 2 days for optimal freshness and quality for the fruit contain and for the chocolate one up to 4 days.
Should I put the cake in the fridge?
Yes, you should! Keep the cake in the fridge until you're ready to eat it. It's ready to serve right out of the refrigerator, no need to let it warm up.
If I pick up the cake, how do I transport the cake safely to the destination?
The safest place for your cake is the floor of the car, especially the passenger side floor. It's the flattest surface. Make sure you drive smoothly so the cake doesn't slide around, and if it's a hot day, turn on your car's air conditioning.
How do I pick up the cake and where is our pickup Location?
A notification will be sent to your email once your cake is ready for pickup. For pickup you can choose where you would like to choose the location near to you before you complete the order. Pickup No-Shows: Orders not picked up at the scheduled time will be held until the end of the business day. If the order remains uncollected, it will be considered fulfilled and non-refundable.

Do you do delivery?
We deliver to most locations in Sydney Metropolitan and up to 20km around Sydney. We deliver Monday to Saturday and Sunday is by appointment only. Delivery charges are calculated at checkout when you enter your post code. We will let you know the delivery window the day before. We will do our best to deliver within your chosen window-time. If you are unavailable during the delivery window-time and did not provide alternative instructions, we will try to find a safe spot to leave your cake or contact you to arrange redelivery (fees may apply).
